Grand Prix of Europe

The feature film

Edda dreams of becoming a racing driver. Unexpectedly, her wish comes true – from her father's fairground, which is in need of renovation, she goes straight to the racetrack! Together with her idol, racing driver Ed, she faces the challenges of the Grand Prix and uncovers a sabotage conspiracy. Will they manage not only to save the Grand Prix, but also the fairground from closure?

Just in time for Europa-Park's 50th birthday, the park's famous characters Ed & Edda and their friends are taking the cinema screen by storm. The co-production by MACK Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, penned by Kirstie Falkous, John Reynolds, Jeff Hylton and Ben Safier, among others, delights cinema audiences with lovable characters, a captivating story, action and humour.

The film is produced by Michael Mack, Managing Partner of Europa-Park, CEO of MACK One and founder of the entertainment company MACK Magic. The film was produced under the direction of MACK Magic in the in-house studios of MACK Animation in Hanover, one of the leading animation studios in Europe, which is responsible for cinema hits such as ‘Konferenz der Tiere’ (Animals United) and the ‘Happy Family’ franchise. It was directed by Waldemar Fast, who has been working in the animation industry as a director and animator for more than 20 years and has been involved in numerous successful productions. German Oscar winner Volker Bertelmann contributed the film's gripping soundtrack.

GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE was released on 24 July 2025 by Warner Bros. Pictures Germany in cinemas in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland. The film is being released worldwide in cooperation with Timeless Entertainment. UK followed on 22 August, with France starting on 8 October. GRAND PRIX OF EUROPE is supported by DFFF.
